We the People
of the United States of America are united in a common goal to resist government tyranny,
to educate each other, and to recruit other Americans so that We the People may regain Liberty in the United States.
OUR STRUCTURE
1. We the People is composed of small groups that meet periodically to educate each other, and discuss and plan strategies and means of accomplishing our primary mission.
A. Each group meeting is generally divided into:
I. Reading of the Mission Statement, followed by a pledge and a minute of silent prayer / meditation.
II. Meeting topic (followed by discussion and or Q/A
III. Plan of action
IV. Selection of the next group leader.
B. A group meeting may include:
I. Discussion of particular topic
II. Speaker / topic lecture – presentation
III. Media Presentation
IV. Report on particular Action Group
V. US Constitution, Florida Constitution Study
VI. Etc.
VII. Old Business
2. Action Groups are formed among us from the We the People groups. The objective of the Action Group(s) is to focus on specific issues, elected officials, etc.
3. Sponsorship and growth is part of our primary mission. To that end:
a. Each of us has a duty to recruit and introduce fellow Americans to the group by personal contact.
b. To aid in recruitment, we will
I. Have and advertise a common website
II. Print suitable “We the People” literature
III. Train new participants in recruitment techniques
VIII. Prepare a ‘Newcomer’ packet
4. Once a group becomes too large it needs to divide.
A. The new ‘splinter’ must adhere to We the People’s mission and principles, but it may otherwise operate independently.
B. To ensure smooth transition, and to increase the new group fellowship at the onset, some of the fellows from the parent group will attend the new group meetings.
Each of us should attend his ‘home’ group and at least one more adjacent group
5. Multiple groups must periodically combine and hold a ‘super meeting’ these may be organized around a given important speaker, event, etc. but the paramount reason is to ensure that the fellowship remains homogeneous and to cross-pollinate, exchange ideas and thus rejuvenate the fellowship as a whole
6. Each meeting is lead by a leader pro tem. Each fellow is encouraged to actively participate in a meeting (discuss the issue). The leader will select those wishing to speak in turn, and be sure that no one fellow dominates the discussion.
7. Each of us must take the opportunity to lead the home group, and no one can lead the home group the second time until all other fellows have had their turn at leadership.
8. Each of us should strive to expand his/her understanding of at least one critical issue and be prepared to speak about it in his home group ( and speak to other groups)
9. Each fellow is encouraged to become active in at least one Action Group, and be able to report to his home group the status of the AG.
10.
Communications, web site and email exchange
A.
We the
People will have a common website, with
each group having an opportunity to have its own section.
B. The use of mass-emails is discouraged; however, each fellow may subscribe to receive an electronic Newsletter.
